Peace, T.V.

For those of you unawares, ESPN is streaming the world cup on their 360 program. And while I'm Hard at Wonk I'm able to enjoy the cup.

I thought it was phenomenal when March Madness was streamed, since I don't have a TV at college. As this stuff picks up, viewers are going to have far more opportunities to subscribe, and recieve a la carte selections, of the sort Mccain tried to write into the (bad) communications bill. If the cable companies are smart they will realize that their best option to stem the bleeding away from television is going to be to try and adapt to the flexibility offered by the internet.
