Selling out

Russ Baker at Tom Paine nails the crux of the Dems 2006 problem: their own 'culture of corruption'.

He cites the example Jack Quinn, but obviously Quinn is hardly alone. Another Dem consultant making headlines is Mike McCurry, who is on what is undoubtedly the WRONG side of the net neutrality debate.

I think that Kos is spot on with this stuff. Until the Democrats manage to rid their party of some of its worst demons (be they individuals or concepts) it won't deserve to, or succeed in, changing the culture or majority in D.C.
